Around the same time possibly even the same day, can’t recall exactly I had given in to the nagging message to install windows updates which had been in my taskbar for at least a week, maybe two. Thankfully I can use Troubleshooting etc. So not sure whether AMD broke first or Win updates broke AMD, or it was something else completely, but win-ms updates do have a bad rep for causing problems! Considering I found out after the fact that ms-win update restore points don’t work anyway and that restore points in general have been ‘cancelled’ in Win10!

Nice move MS. Foolishly but unintentionally, I did not do a backup, inc my personal stuff I know – am an idiot as the pc was ‘only! Oh how time flies! But I was wrong, so it would be absolutely amazing if we could retain or retrieve this somehow! If not, then it’s my own fault and I will have to take it on the chin! But I do have the original Windows 10 on pen drive I insisted be included with pc – and this 2nd computer my old but trusty Win 7 which I can use to get help.

I could do with some help and reassurance. I do have a Speccy report from August which will at least offer some specs. Sadly, the rest are on the ‘unwell’ pc.
