Office Professional Academic won’t nott. Running Win 8. Computer and Office has been running perfectly but Windows would not start the other day, followed screen prompts and started from an earlier restore point.

Tried putting in product key again is that the license? From control panel tried repair, did not work with message ‘MS Office professional configuration did not complete successfully’.

Would not uninstall either. Put in offce MS disk but would not repair or uninstall from disk. Did not work, ‘MS Office professional uninstall did not succeasfully successfully’. Tried Revo Uninstall which appeared to detect and remove everything.

Tried to install but no luck ‘MS Office professional encountered an error during setup’. Ran Fixit which appeared to detect and remove the installed bits. Tried again to install fred got same error message. Repeated above cycle two more times including restarts.

I know there are lots of threads about all the above issues but can’t quite find the right one This microaoft is locked.
