I can only conclude that either there was a genunine MS issue all day Or It took a while to process my white list on the proxy. The issue is that I don’t want to log in to portal. I want to click the app icons on my desktop to open up a word doc, excel sheet, etc. I can’t sign out of my personal email unlicensed to sign into my school account licensed to access the office on my computer because of the temporary server issue that keeps showing up.

If you have other account sign in Office, you may also try reset Office Activation status with script from the link: OLicenseCleanup. Additionally, to check if the issue related to your school tenant on server side, may I know if your classmates get the same issue?
I really do not know where to go to see if I have the latest desktop version of office. My account says I have the following subscriptions:. Thanks for the updates, Based on the description, you have valid Office license. If the issue only happen with Office on your Devices and your account, it is possible that the issue is related to your local environment.

My Office apps have been acting unusual the last few weeks, and now it shows up as an unlicensed product its licensed, I am the admin for our account and have no issue using it online. When I try to sign into my account from Word, I get an error message saying “Sorry, we are having some temporary server issues”. I have looked through all of the similar forum questions and solutions, tried them, and none have worked.

Please go to My account (replace.me) site and check if you have Office license named “The latest desktop version of Office” · Try connect to another network. Based on your description, it seems like when you want to sign in Office applications, an error will pop out saying ‘Sorry, we are having some temporary server.
