Looks like I am the first to make a review comment for this book. I am new to this version of Revit but have had training on earlier versions. Where I work now we are up to date with the new version, As I began to get back up to speed with Revit I decided on this book after looking at the past reviews and comments.
However after going through a few of the exercises I was wondering why I was not getting it the first time and having to reread and follow through word for word and still not getting it. This one is from There have been several changes and evidently the writers did not do there review well enough to catch this problem, and took the short cut using old tables.
It is frustrating to spend this much money and time, and not get accurate information by what I read of experienced, educated, Senior Business Consultants to Autodesk. The only good part to this is that I have been forced to look and figure out how to get to where they want me to go with the new version.
Needless to say, my time usage and efficiency is not happening. The book is poor in practical examples. It’s ok. Good book! One person found this helpful.
Very useful resource as I learn my way around Revit. The information is straight-forward and very well organized. Some things in when reading this book are fairly unclear and leave you searching the program, flipping through the index and rereading paragraphs. If you’re interested in learning Revit MEP, look elsewhere, this book offers no insight on this topic. See all reviews.
