Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. The project file is not a movie. It’s the editing state of your project within movie maker. The project file is just a list of file names, their edit points, a list of effects and transitions that are applied, etc. As for why you are getting confused about version 6. What you are showing at the top of the dialog is the version of Windows you are running WMM 6. If you ran it on Windows 7, you’d see it with an internal version of 6.
But again, that is the version of Windows. The build number is shown later as 6. That’s the older version and the project files it creates are. The movie files it creates are.
