It sets up auto-discover records in the registry that prevent it from looking for the real autodiscover DNS settings. I have a fix for that which includes removing those entries from the user’s hive in the registry and also adds about 5 records that I’ve found n my search for the solution to this. This fix worked every time, back in , but made no difference on this server.
I was working with MS Support. However still no luck. What made it work finally was found by accident. I had another client who was unable to connect to the Adobe auth servers. They sent us to a fix from MS that worked. Search for MicrosoftEasyFix This fix says it enables TLS 1. I had to download a different version than the one that Adobe pointed to us for the auth error, but it works for Win7 or Serverr2 at least. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

After it runs through validation checks, it returns this message: Can’t verify my email address; then it does a Office readiness check and it returns this message: 1.

Gmail and Outlook accounts work just fine. I can check Hotmail via the web, but that’s a pain. I’ve tried all the fixes suggested, and nothing has worked. I recently upgraded from office and outlook has some serious problems. It connects to server office costumer not business edition for a while, then drops connection and stays that way with info that it cannot connect to server. I am so dissapointed with Office – I should never make myself trouble and upgrade from – it seems as some sort of half-baked trial product, which is tested on consumers.

If the email account is configured as Exchange Active sync, you may remove and re-add the email account in Outlook and check if it works as expected. If the above steps fails, I would suggest you to create a new Outlook profile configure the email account in Outlook and verify the status. Thank you. I read that when you posted it before. I shouldn’t have asked the question. Outlook should create an EAS account automatically when connecting to the “old” Outlook.
Are you using the Outlook Connector with Outlook ? This freshly created test one MS account is on some new outlook. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
