I root my User folders in OneDrive so have many times learned the hard way. So relax because they can never get totally lost and not be recreated. I hope this helps. Then log in as yourself and see if you can recover your documents. I don’t think I would be able to do that myself, do you have any desk account, Instructions are not clear enough.
If instructions to make a new Account and take Ownership of the folders are beyond your regular capabilities, you should take the machine to a nearby computer shop and have them help you.
