I resolved it for most of them. Buy yourself a memory card reader that reads the memory card in your camera. Shut the camera down, remove the memory card. Put the memory card in the memory card reader. The memory card reader is now not much different from an ordinary USB thumb drive. It is far easier to copy the pictures from the memory card reader.
Just put them where you want them. A side benefit is that it is vastly easier to delete pictures from the memory card once you have downloaded them to your computer. It also is nice in that you can now copy those pictures to any PC and it does not have to have any drivers or software on it that are specific to your camera.
