You can play as the animator or the animation , but you can only play as the animator in the beginning.
As the animator, you have to use the common drawing tools found in the Flash development environment to take out the animation. For example, taking the line tool and dragging it will fire arrows at the animation.
It takes a while to learn exactly what each weapon does. The animation has a ton of controls to keep in mind , giving it a high learning curve, but it also gets to have more powerful weapons to compensate. Each tool also gives it a different effect than the animator has – for example, the line tool will instead turn into a staff for it to swing around.
All in all, The Animator vs. Animation Game plays a little dated, but it’s still a great 2 player Flash game.
