By its definition, axonometric is without perspective distortion, which was the subject of the thread. As of writing, AD still doesn’t offer perspective as an option in the grid settings.

When you are satisfied with your changes, click Apply to exit the tool. With the layer you want to distort selected, click on the Warp Tools from the Tools panel and select Perspective Tool. A pop-up dialog appears to allow you to set the parameters of the transformation.
The Perspective settings include the number of planes on which perspective can be applied one or two , the working mode Source — lets you adjust the grid without changing the image; Destination — applies the perspective to the image , options for displaying the grid and altering the image beyond the boundaries of the perspective grid points, and options of previewing the results.
Select Dual Planes and set the Mode to Source. Check Show Grid and Autoclip. Move the control points from the intersection of the two planes at the top and bottom of your object. Then switch the Mode to Destination. Now, when you drag one of the two intersection points, Affinity applies the perspective and modifies the image. This method works very well for buildings and other vertical objects. You can undo and redo each action you make within the Perspective tool. Affinity allows you to preview the result and compare it with the original image.

Unfortunately, my 40mm DA Limited has put the lines out of shape. The windows should be square but in this photograph clearly they are not. Once the window is warped you can double check if everything is square by drawing a box over the window. If everything is squared up properly, take a look at the rest of the image to make sure that there were no issues caused by using the tool.
You will notice that there will be an alteration to the whole image. We do this to keep all proportions the same throughout the image or else certain components may look especially odd, such as the bikes wheels.
And the final image is finished:. As you can see, the final image looks much better. Not only are both the windows perfectly square, but the wheels on the bike are much more circular as well. The tool is easy to use and it can be fun trying out different looks on a building.
