Having a built in 4k bluray player was great, the controller design remained unchanged, setup for screen optimization was easy enough and reclaiming my gamertag was not a hassle. The S will not natively play games at 4k but upscale the signal, it will play 4k HDR content from netflix or Amazon though since it runs either 24 or 30hz.

I will say a downside is the 1TB built in hard drive doesn’t store nearly enough. Loss in basic system memory and figure conversion means about GB of space usable.

While you would think it was crazy to use that much, all games download and the newer 4k or HDR compatible ones will take up space. A 2tb drive would be better, but if you can, a usb 3. The pdp media remote is a good addition if you plan to stream content a lot too. My family really enjoys it.

We had a challenge with the parental controls and settings up Fortnite. There is no easy way to figure out what privacy you can keep in place to play Fortnite in any mode. It would be better if there was an easy way to set up the privacy for a particular game or type of experience.
